Description - With the passing of the law for the provision of nationwide fast charging infrastructure for pure battery electric vehicles (SchnellLG) in June 2021, the legal framework for the development of the German network was laid. The aim of the Germany netwo rk is to provide a nationwide, attractive and reliable fast charging infrastructure for users, including on federal motorways. On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV), the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is to equip 200 unmanaged rest areas throughout Germany with a fast charging infrastructure.
